Laura Wise, MA, LMFT

Therapy offers a powerful path for transformation, and I’m honored to walk alongside you.

With over a decade of experience as a licensed psychotherapist, I specialize in supporting women through life transitions, relationship challenges, high-stress careers, trauma, anxiety, and issues related to confidence and self-worth. Uplifting and empowering women has been the heart of my life’s work.

Clients often describe my approach as warm, conversational, and collaborative, yet grounded and direct when needed. Unlike traditional, top-down models of therapy, I don’t believe in hierarchy. I’m not here to tell you who you are, I’m here to work with you. You can expect a therapeutic relationship where you're deeply heard, genuinely supported, and actively guided.

My perspective is shaped by advanced training in Feminist Psychology and recovery from high-control relationships or groups. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I also work with many clients who are queer or questioning. I hold space for the full spectrum of identity and experience, with a special focus on the unique pressures women face in today’s world.
